Join us as we visit a family farm. We will start out at the farmette with a visit to the goats and 2 mini horses. The children will experience the thrill of feeding, petting, and interacting with the animals. There will be an education/learning time where the children will receive a handout folder, a snack, and a drink (for paid participants.) The snack will be individually pre-wrapped.
Then we will drive 2 miles down the road to a larger facility to visit with the 2 full-sized horses. There we will see a demonstration of mounted archery, roping - and possibly barrel racing, with more learning opportunities as well as a game to play.
Note: This is an outdoor activity so dress appropriately. Each parent will be required to sign a liability form. Masks are at your discretion but are not required by the farm.
