Step away from the books and come join us for a fun morning of scents and colors! We will learn how to make soap and a sugar scrub. YOU will get to choose the scent, color, and shape(s). You may choose from several different molds for your soap shapes and, depending upon the size of the molds, you may end up with a few large soaps or lots of small soaps – either way, you will have some to keep for yourself and some to give away as Christmas presents! The sugar scrub recipe makes one 2-oz container. Again, a perfect Christmas gift – if you can bear to part with it.
After your soap has been properly mixed and poured into the molds – it needs to be frozen. Yes, you read that right. So while your soap is “chillin’ in the freezer,” you will get a tour of the store and learn more about soaps, scents, and lotions than you ever thought possible. You will leave the Sunrise Soap Co with your soaps and sugar scrub ready to be packaged as you wish.
Note: Next door is the York Central Market House where you can enjoy lunch and/or continue your early Christmas shopping.
