Join us as we tour a grocery store! We will start in the produce section and learn about the different food groups and nutrition as we work our way through the aisles. The children will even get to sample cheese at the deli! (pls indicate any dairy allergies at sign up) The tour will also stress the benefits of physical activity.
Parents: Due to previous bad experiences, we were originally asked to have no more than 1 adult per every 8 students. At my concern over this requirement, they explained their frustration at having the children quiet & attentive during the presentation but having the adults not being as considerate and carrying on conversations that required the presenters to talk over the adults. (I KNOW we homeschoolers are better than that!) So, at my pleading, you are now welcome to attend BUT you are asked to remain quiet so as not to distract the students or the presenters. Let’s show the public what true respect looks like and hold our personal conversations until after the presentation.
