Are you considering homeschooling but don’t know where to start? Regardless of what grade your child is in, it can be confusing and a little difficult to navigate if you go it alone. The good news is that you DON’T have to walk this path alone. We are here for you and would love to come along side of you to encourage and support you in this endeavor. Experienced homeschool parents and evaluators will cover topics from PA Law to Dads. Here's the line-up:
- Linda Blocker (evaluator) will speak on “PA Law including How to Withdraw Your Child From Public School and Required Paperwork”
- Elizabeth Ferry (evaluator) will help with “Taking the Fear Out of Evaluations”
- Amy Eckel (homeschool mom) will help you understand “The Difference Between Cyber and Traditional Homeschooling”
- Bob Spoljaric (homeschool dad) will explain “Homeschooling From a Dad’s Perspective.”
There will be samples of the required forms that you may take home with you as well as different styles of portfolios for you to browse through.
You will leave this workshop feeling more confident taking your next step in this wonderful, wacky and amazing world of homeschooling.
Take notes and record your questions as they come to mind. There will be a Q&A time at the end. There is no child care.
