Curious Naturalist programs will focus on three animal families commonly found in central PA forests, fields and backyards. Students in grades 2-5 are invited to participate in several outdoors activities led by state park educators from 10 am to 2 pm each day. Spend time exploring the habitats where these animals live and learn more about their natural history and adaptations for survival. Parents and siblings are welcome to attend with students. June 6 – Amphibians – Take a closer look at amphibians’ unique characteristics and life stages, including a search for live ones in a vernal pond. |
