You are invited to participate in the HAHA Evaluator Experience! 

September 16th, 2014 (rain date: September 30th) 

10 AM – 1 PM 

We are pleased to announce we have invited a small group of evaluators to gather at Wildwood Park this fall.  Each evaluator will give a brief introduction under the pavilion followed by picnic table meet-and-greet sessions held throughout the park. 

We hope this informal event will provide families with an opportunity to learn more about local evaluators.  We believe members should be in a position to make informed decisions when choosing such an integral partner in the homeschooling process. 

If you don’t already have a relationship with an evaluator, you might find the right person at this event.  If you have an evaluator but she doesn’t feel like a good ‘fit,’ consider this event your opportunity to find someone new!   

If you are interested in meeting with a specific evaluator in a relaxed atmosphere, you may visit her assigned picnic table and she will be available to chat with you and answer your questions. 

PLUS…if you are planning to attend the Back to School Fair in August, you might have an additional opportunity to meet potential attendees, as they are all invited to sign up as exhibitors.  

In an effort to help mothers that would prefer to visit with the evaluators without their children present, we have organized an optional kids educational activity from 10 a.m. to 12 noon inside the Nature Center. A separate sign up on the HAHA website is required for that event. Since the Nature Center field trip ends at 12, you could always bring your children back to meet the evaluators during the last hour from 12 to 1 p.m.      

We hope you will consider packing a lunch and staying in the park to take advantage of the opportunity for interaction with other HAHA families as well as the evaluators.

Pre- registration is required.  Please sign up only adult attendees.  Children do not need to register unless they are attending the Nature Center program which is a totally separate registration on the calendar.

Evaluators confirmed so far include:  Jessica Allen, Shelley Taylor,  Donna Botterbusch, Linda Eby Burnett, and Linda Blocker.
