Nixon Park Geology Rocks Program
Nixon County Park will be hosting a special Geology Rocks! program for homeschool students on October 7th from 9:30am-2:00pm. We would love to have you participate again! Join county and state park naturalists as we hike to see unique geological formations, experience a hands-on presentation on earthquakes and volcanoes, and explore the Nature Center on a scavenger hunt. Take home a rock-themed craft and further adventure suggestions! This is a free student-drop off program open to all homeschooled students ages 6-11 or studying 1st-6th grade curriculums.
