Portfolio Peek Parent Meeting
HAHA is pleased to announce that we will, once again, be hosting monthly parent meetings. Our first meeting will be on "Preparing Your Portfolio" for the end of the year evaluation.
We will have various sample portfolios on-hand for you to look at. In addition to the traditional binder type portfolios, we will also share with you some other unique methods for reporting.
While the final say is up to your evaluator to determine what format is acceptable for their services, homeschooling expert and HAHA President, Jamey McClintock will be on-hand to share with you what the law says in terms of methods of determining whether an appropriate education has taken place or not.
Pre-registration for this event is required and can be done by registering on the HAHA site at www.hahaofpa.org. Please register all who will be in attendance. We are sorry but there is no childcare available. Well-behaved children and nursing infants are welcome to join you.
The location of this event is Christian Life Assembly, 2645 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Times are 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a brief time of instruction on what is required by the law and the rest of the time will be spent reviewing the sample portfolios. We will meet in room 704 near the Cafe. You will want to enter on the west side near the big blue water tower. We will put balloons on the door that you should enter.
