Additional Information

From Mike Woodworth - First meetup is Sat. June 30th. 2 to 4 p.m.

My son started a Nerf club for Dauphin County, and is hosting a free monthly game, on the last Saturday of each month, through October. I hope we can share events between our groups so that they might be more successful and enjoyable for the kids.

There is a group page for the club at https://www.facebook.com/groups/2088997931358233/, and our first event page is at https://www.facebook.com/events/260730287833714/

Here are the details from it:

"DCNC is hosting its 2018 Nerf events outside of Hoffer Park in Middletown, PA, where we will be playing a number of game types like Team Deathmatch, Humans Vs Zombies, Capture the Flag, Tower Defense, Boss Fight, Free for All, and Cargo Drop.

This is a FREE event for for ages 7 and up, and players under 13 years of age must have a parent or guardian accompany them in order to participate. All participants are reminded that this is a family-friendly event, and we ask that you act and speak appropriately while attending.

All players will need to bring their own eye protection, Nerf equipment and ammunition in order to participate. All firing Nerf equipment MUST be marked with a blaze orange tip. Safely modified equipment is permitted - though nothing that fires faster than 130 Feet Per Second is allowed.

We will be playing in an area along Mill St, in front of Hoffer Park, that has a large field with a number of trees for shade and cover. It's recommended that all participants bring a drink and wear sunscreen for the summer sun. Parking is available along Mill Street and within Hoffer Park. If possible, please park vehicles along Mill Street, facing the park entrance, to help block darts or balls from going into the street. Bathrooms are available within Hoffer Park.

Please mark any equipment that you are bringing and want to be sure you can say it belongs to you. DCNC is not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen items, nor will we (or the borough of Middletown) accept responsibility or liability for any personal injuries you might incur while participating in these physical activities with us.
