Fall 2018 Homeschool Days
September 8-September 23, 2018

A revolutionary way to combine learning with adventure

Militiz

There's a movement to victory in the Revolutionary City…townspeople dreaming of freedom amidst the uncertainty of a future at war. We invite you to walk beside our colonists and experience daily life in our tradeshops, homes, and community buildings. Take part in America's beginnings in ways that will spark your family's imagination. From the basics—a reading of the Declaration of Independence daily—to the unexpected—African American storytelling—in over 300 acres of interactive activities, we'll keep them busy, thinking and dreaming!

Homeschoolers and their families can enjoy hands-on activities and revolutionary experiences designed to make history come alive in a way that is educational and interactive.  Plus, visits can be tailored to include on-site lodging, dining, 18th century tavern meals and entertainment.  Inspire the next generation of dreamers with a Colonial Williamsburg experience.
