Why does our electricity go out? How is it fixed? And what should I do if I see a power line lying on the road? Come find out the answers to these and many other questions about electricity and safety. The Adams Electric Cooperative will give us a fun and informative hour and a half high voltage safety demo and answer any question you have. This demo will be held indoors in a garage so it will occur rain, snow or shine. There is no seating but you are welcome to bring a camp chair along. Moms with little children, be aware that there are some loud noises during the demo.
If there is a bad snow storm, you will be notified via email that Adams Electric has chosen to reschedule to our snow date. But do not automatically assume they will reschedule and miss this amazing demo. If you have any questions, email the contact person.
There are 2 duplicate demos being offered - one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Covid & Safety Info: All attendees MUST wear closed-toes shoes. Masks are REQUIRED while inside the building.

This is NOT the headquarters but the district office, which sits along the side of the road (Rt 34). If the front parking lot is full, there will be some extra parking available around back however parking IS limited so please find a friend (or make a friend) and carpool.
