Path Peeps 2026-27

**Path Peeps fall registration opens Monday, June 15th at 8am for returning families and Monday, June 22nd at 8am for new families.**

Pre-K/K: Storybook Adventures

(10:45-12:40)

***Must be 4 by 6/1/26 and a younger sibling of a Peeps Co-op student***

{This is an abbreviated program for our littlest learners, and registration will be open only to younger siblings of enrolled students. While we know this is disappointing to some, we have found this to work best in our co-op setting for both the group and individuals. Please check back in the future if your oldest child is under 6!}

Storybook Adventures is a fun, interactive weekly class designed for PreK and Kindergarten children (ages 4-6). Each week, we dive into a new children's book, bringing its story to life through engaging activities tailored to young learners. The class features a read-aloud session, followed by hands-on projects like crafts, simple science experiments, or movement games that connect to the book’s theme. Activities are age-appropriate, encourage creativity, and promote social skills in a supportive, playful environment. Classes are paced to keep little ones excited and engaged. (Mrs. Kara Stadstad)

***PreK/K families are required to volunteer twice per 8-wk term, per registered child. By registering you are agreeing to volunteer you time.***

Grades 1-4 Fall 2026 Classes

(10:45-2:35, Five 35-min class sessions, plus lunch and large group opening)

***Must be 6 by 6/1/26***

ASL: Students will be introduced to letters, numbers, vocabulary, and a few grammar basics of American Sign Language. We will practice these skills through in-class games, activities, story-telling, and role-play. (Mrs. Tracie Rieder)

Music: I'm excited to use my experience in music to positively impact children through fun, educational, and spiritual activities. We'll explore the Bible's view on music, learn about classical composers, and study all instrument families. Kids will get hands-on experience with instruments, learn musical symbols, dynamics, Italian terms, and how to read notes. Parents and older siblings are invited to share their musical talents. Students who participated in music last year will find a helpful review of terminology and the basics, plus introductions to new instruments and topics. (Mrs. Amy Sauder)

PE: High energy games and fitness activities will provide a fun opportunity to get the wiggles out during the co-op day. (Parent Volunteer - If you are interested in specifically being a Phy Ed volunteer, please contact me. This counts as your volunteer days and would be a great way for dads to get involved! )

Speech: This is a low-pressure opportunity for students to present in front of their peers twice during each 8-week session. Specific prompts/themes will be given to guide students in selecting a topic. (Parent Volunteer)

Living Active Bible: All over the world, children are learning the Bible through a method called LAM! The Living Active Method allows children to immerse themselves in Bible stories through play and active learning. Each week, children will hear a Bible story that they re-enact, including that all-important "takeaway."

Investigating  God's Creation: Join us in exploring the wondrous variety of creatures in God's Kingdom. (Mrs. Jadee Heglund)

***All families are required to volunteer one full co-op day per registered child. By registering your child(ren), you are agreeing to volunteer your time. Volunteer sign-ups will be put out in early October.***

Grades 4-6 Fall 2026 Classes

(10:30-2:35, Four 50-min classes, plus lunch)

***4th graders may register "up" or "down" at parent's discretion.***

Art: Students will walkthrough art history, learning about various artists, their time period and the mediums they employed. They will have the opportunity to create art in the styles and themes of each historical artist. (Mrs. Lori Holtorf and Mrs. Starr Warndahl)

Drama: Students will unleash their creativity while improving communication skills and building confidence through public speaking in a fun and encouraging environment. Students will experience the importance of collaboration and respecting and embracing our God-given differences.           (Mrs. Kara Stadstad)

Nutrition: We will be learning foundational principles of nutrition, covering topics like wellness, making balanced choices, energy, and hydration. I hope to promote curiosity as we learn about different nutrients and how they help us grow and stay healthy. (Mrs. Sherilynn Hanson)

Extreme Weather & Natural Disasters: Join us for an overview of the power and science behind God's creation and its effect on the world              (Ms. Faith Elo)

***Please note you are registering your child for the '1-4 class track' or the '4-6 class track.' Students will be divided into small sections (roughly by grade and age) when registration is complete. For 4th graders, consider your child's attention span and academic readiness when making your selection, as the older classes are longer and slightly more academic in nature.
