Path Peeps 2025-2026
***Registration begins for returning families Monday, December 1st!***
(New families may register Monday, December 8th.)
Path Peeps is for the youngest members of our Path Community. With classes for Pre-K through 6th grade, we offer a variety of options late October through February. Path Peeps meets a total of 16 weeks, broken into two 8-week sessions. Classes that are typically offered are science, art, phy ed, speech, Spanish or ASL, and other enrichment-type classes. Parents are encouraged to come early to play at the playground, stay for our opening time, and linger after co-op to allow free play for the kids while connecting with other parents. We love our community and would love for you to be a part of it!
- Families are free to register for one or both sessions.
- Fall registration is in June, and winter registration is in November, with current families receiving priority registration.
- Parents are asked to volunteer one full co-op day per enrolled student, per 8-week term. Pre-K/K parents will need to volunteer twice per 8-week session to ensure adequate supervision.
- Weeks when the parent is not volunteering, they are free to drop off or stay for encouragement and community with others.

Pre-K/K: Storybook Adventures
(10:45-12:45)
***New this year*** ***Must be 4 by 9/1/25***
{This is an abbreviated program for our littlest learners, and registration will be open only to younger siblings of enrolled students. While we know this is disappointing to some, we have found this to work best in our co-op setting for both the group and individuals. Please check back in the future if your oldest child is under 6!}
Storybook Adventures is a fun, interactive weekly class designed for PreK and Kindergarten children (ages 4-6). Each week, we dive into a new children's book, bringing its story to life through engaging activities tailored to young learners. The class features a read-aloud session, followed by hands-on projects like crafts, simple science experiments, or movement games that connect to the book’s theme. Activities are age-appropriate, encourage creativity, and promote social skills in a supportive, playful environment. Classes are paced to keep little ones excited and engaged. (Mrs. Kara Stadstad)
Grades1-4 Winter 2025 Classes
(10:45-2:35, Five 35-min class sessions, plus lunch and large group opening)
***Must be 6 by 9/1/25***
ASL: Students will be introduced to letters, numbers, vocabulary, and a few grammar basics of American Sign Language. We will practice these skills through in-class games, activities, story-telling, and role-play. (Mrs. Tracie Rieder)
Mixed Media Arts: We will look at and create art using a variety of art mediums. The main focus of student created art and the art appreciation component will be landscapes this year. (Mrs. Lori Holtorf and Mrs. Starr Warndahl)
Body Bonanza: Exploring How We Work!: Get ready for a fun, hands-on adventure through the amazing human body! Students will dive into a different body system each week, learning how their bodies work through engaging, interactive lessons. (Mrs. Jadee Hegland)
PE: High energy games and fitness activities will provide a fun opportunity to get the wiggles out during the co-op day. (Parent Volunteer - If you are interested in specifically being a Phy Ed volunteer, please contact me. This counts as your volunteer days and would be a great way for dads to get involved! )
Speech: This is a low-pressure opportunity for students to present in front of their peers twice during each 8-week session. Depending on age/development, speeches can range from "show and tell" for our youngest Peeps to developed presentations/demonstrations for our older students. (Parent Volunteer)
Living Active Bible: All over the world, children are learning the Bible through a method called LAM! The Living Active Method allows children to immerse themselves in Bible stories through play and active learning. Each week, children will hear a Bible story that they re-enact, including that all-important "takeaway."
Grades 4-6 Fall 2025 Classes
(10:30-2:35, Four 50-min classes, plus lunch)
***4th graders may register "up" or "down" at parent's discretion.***
Music: I'm excited to use my experience in music to positively impact children through fun, educational, and spiritual activities. We'll explore the Bible's view on music, learn about classical composers, and study all instrument families. Kids will get hands-on experience with instruments, learn musical symbols, dynamics, Italian terms, and how to read notes. Parents and older siblings are invited to share their musical talents. Students who participated in music last year will find a helpful review of terminology and the basics, plus introductions to new instruments and topics. (Mrs. Amy Sauder)
I survived! Join us for an “I Survived” book club this winter. You will get to choose between 1 of 4 historical fiction novels involving natural disasters (hurricanes, volcanoes, blizzards, or wildfires). We will read the book (will require some reading at home), compare and contrast the main characters in all of our books, rehearse for a reader’s theater performance, write a short newspaper article as a firsthand witness, and read some nonfiction about their natural disaster. Winter is the perfect time to enjoy a new book series; we hope you will join us! (Mrs. Molly Johnson)
Spanish: This is an interactive class that will introduce your student to the Spanish language through songs, stories and hands-on activities. A new vocabulary theme will be taught each lesson. Students will practice during class with lots of verbal exercises. Those who participated last year will find an appropriate mix of review and new concepts to build their Spanish skills. Come prepared to have some fun! (Mrs. Jackie Thompson)
The Science of Creation: Learn about God's creation from the beginning. Over the course of the semester, we will learn about the things that God created, in the order that He created them through simple, safe and fun hands-on activities or experiments. The students will be able to make connections, have friendly discussions to encourage curiosity and connection about the different topics, and complete a science journal where they would record observations, drawings and reflections! (Mrs. Dayana Frich)
Registration for Winter 2026 will open Dec. 1 for returning Path families and Dec. 8 for new families! Click here to register!
***Please note you are registering your child for the 'K-4 class track' or the '4-6 class track.' Students will be divided into small sections (roughly by grade and age) when registration is complete. For 4th graders, consider your child's attention span and academic readiness when making your selection, as the older classes are longer and slightly more academic in nature.
