Thank you for requesting membership to Heritage Oaks Christian Homeschool. We are a support group and co-op seeking to encourage the whole family in your homeschool journey. All families who join are required to pay a $200 Family Membership Fee immediately after joining which gives you access to the website and allows you to register for classes. 

The Family Membership Fee is not refundable. It is used to cover administrative costs including insurance, supplies, building-related expenses, fingerprinting and website maintenance. Most of this is paid for in the summer.  

Once your family has registered, you will be able to sign each of your children up for classes, add the attendance fee and participate on the forum.

Heritage Oaks Handbook

Here is a printable version of the handbook for your records. You can always return to your Profile page to review or print the handbook at any time.

The last page of the handbook must be printed and signed by all students ages 10 and up as an acknowledgment that each child understands the expectations of being a student at Heritage Oaks Homeschool Co-op.

We are currently working on a digital handbook system that will allow parents to review and sign the handbook electronically.

  1. Submit this registration/renewal profile page and pay the family fee.

  2. Go to the Home Page.

  3. Click the Registration Dashboard button.

  4. Read the instructions for either New Members or Current Members.

  5. Read and sign the Handbook by clicking the Handbook button. From your Profile page (Access this page from the icon found at the top of the website), print the last page of the Handbook. **Children ages 10 and up should also sign the handbook agreement page.**

  6. Click the Required Forms button and fill out all required forms.

  7. Parent Placement Agreement:
  • New members must complete this form. New members must complete the Language Arts Assessment by clicking the assessment button and following the instructions.

 

  • Current members only need to complete this form if they do not agree with the recommended Language Arts placement.

8.  Click the Class Registration Dashboard button to register for Science and History. Follow the instructions at the top of the page.

  • The Steering Committee will select Language Arts classes based on placement.

Once your membership is approved, you will be asked to pay the $200 Family Membership Fee fee via PayPal. Once the membership fee has been paid, you will be able to register your family for classes.

*The Mid-Year Family Fee applies exclusively to new members who join after the first 15 weeks of the Co-op have passed.*

**The Social Membership fee is for individuals who won't be attending the co-op but still want to participate in field trips and parties.**
