Steps for New Membership
Welcome to our website!
If you are interested in joining our group, please follow the steps below.
1. On the Home Page Click on the very top Menu Tab - "Join"
2. Complete the online New Family Member Profile and submit. You will be creating a member name and password at this time, so please make sure you write it down for future access. The completion of this form will signal the Backroads Homeschool Co-op Director that you have begun the New Membership Enrollment Process.
3. As soon as Backroads Homeschool Co-op has reviewed your packet you will receive an email indicating that you have been approved for membership. However, if there are any further questions, you will be contacted by the Director.
4. If approved, you will be able to log in to the Backroads Homeschool Co-op site by using the member name and password that you created.
The Yearly Membership Fee is due at the Orientation event (see calander). This fee includes registration, one time background check fee of $25, and utilities paid to Ozark Bethel Chapel, our host church.
5. When Class Registration opens, you will click on "Class Registration" to register for classes. Classes are on a first come, first serve basis.
6. EXTRA Class Fees are due at the time of Orientation and will be specified per class. You can pay via PayPal, check or cash.
7. The Director will assign you 3 out of 4 class periods to help with during the session. If you are interested in teaching, please notify the Director with the class subject and age group you are interested in. There will be a rating survey to form to fill out at Orientation for the classes you may be interested in helping with. A Teacher Schedule will be handed out each week with your specific classes for that week. This does vary from week to week depending on attendance. Please be prepared to be flexible.
Kinder-Co-op is a 2 hour class day. All parents help for both hours during the session.
