Learn. Grow. Thrive.

Tuesday, August 18, 2026 @ Wallace Park in Belton is our kickoff picnic, at 9:30 am. We hope to see you there!

Who are we?

Looking for a group in the KC area who specializes in field trips and events?

You've found it!

We are Cass County Home Educators, and we welcome all our members on several field trips each month, and hope to save your family money in the process.

Our organization is able to access discounted admissions and "field trip" excursions to many fun locations across the metro, our members save a significant amount over the price of admission. Check out our infographic at the bottom of this page for more details.

We're glad you found us.

We are a field trip group who prioritizes community.

Our biggest goal, aside from providing a diverse array of fun field trips each year all around the KC metro, is to create opportunities for connection, community, and mentorship.

We are a group with families from all over the metro, who love our group for many different reasons.

But there's one reason we ALL choose to be part of CCHE:

we want to create a community that supports each member family.

If you are looking for a homeschool community, we would love for you to join us.

How Your Family Saves Money with CCHE

Take a look at some of the savings
we were able to offer
to our member families
a few years ago.

While our field trip destinations
change every year,
and these prices
you see here
are
not guaranteed
for future field trips
(because admission prices
change year to year)...

We can promise that if you are a
homeschooling family
who enjoys attending events
and field trips,
our group will save you money
on the regular admission
or entry fee.

More About Us

Want to know more about us?

  • We are a Christ- loving, Bible- honoring homeschool support group who coordinates several field trips and various events each month. (for more info, see our FAQs page)

  • We are just a small(ish) group of homeschool moms working together to provide excellent, educational experiences for our children. Our group is run entirely by the volunteer efforts of our member families.

  • One of our requirements for membership is for each family to volunteer in some capacity. We are looking for new member families who want to lend other talents with which God has blessed them to help ensure our kids have excellent field trips this year.

  • We do mom events, picture day, holiday gatherings, visits to various community helpers, and LOTS of field trips.

  • The vast majority of our events are for all ages of children: your whole family can attend, with maybe one or two exceptions each year. You can live anywhere in the KC metro area to join- our name honors the original group of moms who started our organization almost 20 years ago here in Cass County, but we go all over the metro area, and this year are headed to St. Joseph.

  • We are principally a family- oriented group, but we are not a drop-off group.

  • Our group is a fantastic way to get to know other homeschool families in the area, and this year we plan to be intentional about structuring our meet-ups. (more info on this coming soon!)

  • We also offer mom-only support events. We have mom's night out every month, as well as Homeschool 101, holiday cookie exchanges, a curriculum sharing night... if there's another event you'd like to coordinate, we love hearing ideas. Our hearts are for homeschool families, and as mom, we want to help YOU in your journey.
