ETC (Enrichment Through CHOICE) Co-op Classes

ETC Classes are held on Thursdays at Whitefield Baptist Church from 10:00-2:30. 

ETC will also offer clubs base on student interest each semester. 

The first semester runs from August to the week before Thanksgiving, and the second semester runs from January to  April. This is NOT a drop-off co-op.  One parent must be on the premises at all times. Students may not attend co op without written persmission and approval from the board.

ETC Classes will vary by teacher and subject chosen per student.  All fees must be paid prior to attending any classes.

We have classes for all ages, and all parents are required to teach or be a teacher's assistant. You may be an assistant your first semester, but you will be expected to teach a class all semesters after that. We also require that all families assist with setting up and/or resetting and cleaning the premises.

After joining CHOICE, you will not register for ETC classes yet. The ETC Director will inform the group of tthe opening date for registration for classes. You will go to the Class Calender on the website, click on the class you want your student to be in, check the box beside that student's name, and click Register. Do that for each student for each hour. When you are finished choosing classes, you are done!

Do not pay yet. At the end of the registration window, the ETC Committee will review all registrations to make sure they are correct and then will send out invoices. When you get your invoice, please pay as soon as possible. We must receive payment before classes begin so that we can pay any teachers for the supplies they will need.

As families, we help plan classes throughout the semester. Whenever you get an idea of what you would like to teach the following semester, talk to  the ETC Director to make sure it is a good fit for the co-op and about placing your class in the upcoming schedule.
