What kind of homeschool community are you? |

Awaken is a community of families united in Christ, committed to glorifying God as we pursue a Charlotte Mason home education for our children. We meet once a week for academic classes. Awaken is a Charlotte Mason academic community that exists to provide the opportunity for meaningful relationships, shared educational experiences, and accountability for our students through high school with the hope of forming habits that lead to a flourishing life. We place a strong emphasis on mother culture, support, and fellowship in order to empower parents to share and enjoy the feast with their children at home. We are a volunteer based community. Every parent teaches classes throughout the day. We meet from 9:30-2:30 on Tuesdays. |

What curriculum do you use? |

All community members must have an active membership in the Charlotte Mason Institue's Alveary. All lessons used in community are Alveary lessons. |

What grades do you offer classes for? |
A: |
Awaken offers classes for 1st grade through 12th grade. We require the oldest child in your family to be in 1st grade before seeking entrance in our community. |

We will sent you our interest form, let you know about our open house and conduct an interview with you. Decisions for entrance are made in March and April. |
