Anatomy and Physiology Part 1 is a one-year course. The curriculum we will be using is from Master Books. Here is the description of the course: " Introduction to Anatomy & Physiology examines the awe-inspiring design of the human body as students study the structure, function, and regulation of the cardiovascular, respiratory, and musculoskeletal systems.  Students will discover how their heart and lungs function, the intricacies of the musculoskeletal system, how blood pressure is regulated, and so much more!"

This course is a one credit high school course for students who complete the assigned work. The course will be adapted to fit various learning styles and needs - parents please let me know if your student needs adaptions or how I can tap into the way they learn most effectively. A second credit is available for students who complete Not Consumed's high school health course called Thrive: Health and Physical Education for Homeschoolers. The two classes pair well together and a focus will be on developing life long health habits for our students.

Creative Writing & Self Publishing:
This class teaches high school students to conceptualize, write, design, and publish a collaborative book on Amazon. Students together create a concept for their book that will appeal to teens. In December, each student will submit their strongest piece of writing to the Scholastic Competition. When the draft manuscript is finalized, they will illustrate the book, design the layout, and upload to Amazon. They will market and sell the book with profits sowing back into KBCH.
NOTE: There will be a $45.00 class fee to purchase our ISBN.
