Our Learning Clubs are an amazing new way to get our kids to learn and grow together.
They are offered in different locations and have different durations, but they all share the same amazing elements: learning and fun!
Clubs are parent-led and based on kids’ interests, so they change and grow.

Archery Club is coming to Anchor! (4th grade and up)
This will be a recreational club to learn the basics and have fun practicing together. We will be doing two groups to keep class size to a max of 10 students. Please check that you register for the time slot you prefer! Practice will be Tuesday mornings (8/26-11/11)
The cost will be $125 for the whole semester of 12 weeks!!!

Chess Club (All Ages)
Chess Club is a recreational club for all ages and abilities.
In Chess Club, students will learn strategy, tactics, and classic moves while developing critical thinking, patience, and sportsmanship. Whether you're new to the game or ready to level up, you'll enjoy fun matches and friendly competition.
We meet once a month in the kids' section of the Southshore Library. Bring a board if you have one!

Newspaper Club (All Ages)
Anchor Newspaper Club will be held via Zoom. We will decide a paper name, choose jobs and create assignments. After our initial set up, I think we will probably only need to meet like twice a month. Even if you can't attend the zoom meetings, you can contribute to the paper!

Performing Arts (All Ages)
Singing, dancing, acting and backstage work are all part of the performing arts. Our performing arts club is a chance for kids of all ages to learn and have fun together. We are currently looking at having performing arts club at the church on Thursdays after park time, so around 12:30 but before we can make any final decisions on what to include, we need to know what interests and ages we have so please, if you are considering this club fill out the survey!

Science Club
Monthly meetup at Emerson Pointe Perserve in Palmetto to do one of their science classes. This is a private event for Anchor only! Class will be on the first Tuesday of the month September until April, 1-3pm. Total cost for the whole school year is $125 for all classes. Registration limited to ages 9 and up. Max of 20 students allowed.
