Pastor Rosie Daleiden To All Instructors

Hi! My name is Rosie Daleiden. I am currently privileged to serve on this year’s board as SCOPE’s Recruitment and Teacher Coordinator. I am a licensed pastor with a degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in Music/vocal performance. I currently serve at Willow Church leading worship.
I have been involved in worship and ministry for over 20 years, beginning as a teenager. Over the years, I have had many opportunities to lead and teach in a variety of ministry settings, but my favorite moments of teaching and discipleship are found around the dinner table with my two children.
I believe the presence of God truly changes everything. Worship is our response to God’s worth and goodness—lifting our voices, hearts, and lives to Him—and it creates space for us to encounter Him in a real and personal way. My heart is to invest in the next generation, helping students grow in confidence of their own leadership and discover purpose as they use their gifts to glorify God.
Music in worship is biblical and can be seen throughout Scripture, where God’s people consistently used song to respond to Him. One of the earliest recorded songs in Scripture is the Song of Moses, and this theme of worship through song continues throughout the Bible. The book of Psalms is a literal collection of songs and prayers given to God’s people for worship, and this same pattern continues all the way to Revelation, where we see the Song of Moses echoed as God’s people worship in heaven. In the same way, Scripture also shows God’s people responding to Him through storytelling, spoken word, and creative expression.
I am excited to be teaching Drama and Intro to Worship & Choir as part of the Creative Arts at SCOPE, where I can help students grow in confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be image bearers of the Creator, reflecting His creativity through the arts.
