Through shared learning experiences, fellowship, and prayer, we aim to strengthen families, honor God’s design for education, and equip students to impact the world for Christ.
SCOPE Homeschool Group Vision Statement
SCOPE Homeschool Group envisions a community of Christian families growing together in faith, academic excellence, and Biblical worldview. We seek to raise up a generation of students who love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength—equipped to serve God boldly, think Biblically, and impact the world for Christ.
We aspire to be a place where:
-
Christ is central in all teaching, relationships, and decision-making.
-
Parents are supported in their God-given role as the primary educators and disciplers of their children.
-
Students are challenged to develop strong character, pursue truth, and steward their gifts for God’s glory.
-
Community flourishes through prayer, mutual encouragement, and service, united by a shared faith and purpose.
With God's help, we strive to build a lasting legacy of faith, family, and learning that will extend into future generations.
SCOPE Core Values
1. Christ-Centered
At the heart of all we do is a commitment to Christ. Our teaching, relationships, and daily interactions are grounded in the truth of God’s Word. We seek to glorify Jesus in every subject and activity, acknowledging Him as the source of wisdom and the goal of our instruction.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” – Colossians 3:17
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” – Proverbs 1:7
2. Character
We prioritize the formation of godly character, teaching our students to pursue integrity, kindness, humility, and perseverance. We believe that academic knowledge is best used when shaped by strong moral convictions rooted in Scripture.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” – Galatians 5:22–23
3. Curiosity
We cultivate a love for learning by encouraging curiosity about God’s world. From science to literature, we approach each subject with wonder and a desire to discover the truth of God’s design in all things.
“Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them.” – Psalm 111:2
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” – Jeremiah 33:3
4. Community
We are a family of families, committed to supporting one another in love, service, and prayer. We foster an environment where students and parents feel seen, valued, and encouraged as we walk together in faith and learning.
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another.” – Hebrews 10:24–25
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2
