Cassidy Hall To All Instructors
**New Teacher**
Hi! My name is Cassidy Hall, and I’m a professional creative writer and theatre director/artist with degrees in English-Creative Writing, Music, and Musical Theatre. I have loved working with students for over 12 years through my church, homeschool co-op groups, theatres, and community education avenues. I have had a strong passion for creating writing my whole life – I grew up filling notebooks with little stories and ideas, and was constantly creating stories in my head wherever I went. I love seeing students explore that creativity, and piece together characters and ideas in a way that creates something special. I believe that God has given everyone a unique voice and stories to tell (fiction and non-fiction). In my classes, students will be able to cultivate this gift, while also seeing the connections to storytelling that Jesus used throughout the Bible.
I believe in a teaching environment that is fun and encouraging, where every student can feel comfortable to stand in who God made them to be, and to grow throughout the year in skills, confidence, self-confidence, and creativity. I grew up homeschooled myself and absolutely loved the community and opportunities that homeschooling offered.
I have also worked with students in other avenues of storytelling such as directing theatre productions, and offering acting and singing lessons, with many different groups and homeschool co-ops. I also perform myself when I have the time! Other places I spend my time include managing a charming boutique in Downtown Stillwater, and capturing special moments through photography. God definitely gave me a heart for capturing and creating special moments in whatever area that is, and helping students do the same!
I am very excited to be at SCOPE this year, and I am looking forward to meeting all of the families!
