All About GRACE
What is GRACE?
GRACE is a Christ-centered homeschool co-op community based in Mesa, AZ, serving families with school-aged children (1st–12th grade). We offer academic and enrichment classes, sports, and clubs. For families with younger children (0-6), we also provide a Littles program.
Our co-op meets Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM near Stapley and University. As a cooperative, each family plays an active role, helping foster a close-knit, supportive environment where everyone belongs.
What is a Homeschool Co-op?
A homeschool co-op is a group of families that gather weekly to share educational responsibilities. Parents pool resources to offer academic and enrichment classes for kids of all ages. Some classes are volunteer-led (lower cost), while others are taught by paid instructors. This model builds friendships, provides encouragement, and supports each family’s homeschooling journey.
Why Join a Co-op Like GRACE?
With an estimated 40,000 homeschooled children in Arizona, the need for community is greater than ever. Isolation is one of the biggest challenges for homeschooling families. GRACE provides a structured, faith-based environment where families can connect, grow, and build lasting relationships within a church-based setting.

What Classes Are Offered?
GRACE offers a rotating selection of academic and enrichment classes, largely taught by community parents. Class offerings change each semester based on member skills and interests.
GRACE Littles (for younger children)
GRACE Littles functions like a preschool. Children stay in one classroom while rotating teachers guide them through various lessons and activities.
Curriculum Use
Families use a wide variety of homeschool curricula at home. GRACE classes are designed to be supplemental and are not tied to any specific curriculum.
Fees & Costs
- Annual Membership Fee: $150 per family (covers website, insurance, background checks, and facility costs)
- Class Fee: $7 per student per class
- Supply Fees:
- GRACE Littles: $15 (nursery) to $50 (covers materials, snacks, etc.)

Attendance Expectations
Families are asked to stay for at least two class periods. While full-day attendance is not mandatory, it’s strongly encouraged for a richer experience.
Leaving Campus Policy
Yes, parents may leave campus during a free period for special circumstances (appointments, errands, etc.), if a responsible friend is caring for your children. However, this should be the exception, not the norm. GRACE is built on community, and being present supports meaningful relationships.
