Hello and welcome to the registration process for Cambridge Christian Home Educators Group (CCHE)!

When you sign up to register for the group you will have access to this website where you will be able to register for sports, field trips, co-op, see the calendar, participate in forums and access the classified ads.

The yearly Membership fee is $65 per family and includes paying for our group insurance, rentals, website access, group meetings, etc.

Once your registration is approved, you will be asked to pay promptly in order to have access to all of the events and this website which will help us to communicate more effectively with you. Your membership will be "parked" until payment is received.

1. Statement of Faith

CCHE Statement of Faith

(God – the Trinity)
We believe in one God. God is eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each person of the godhead is coeternal, coexistent and coequal. While each member of the godhead, which is also known as the Trinity, has different roles, the differentiation of roles does not in any way suggest a lessening of nature or substance.
(Father)
We believe in God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
(Jesus)
Jesus is the second person of the Trinity and shares all the attributes of the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus entered into human history through the virgin conception known as the Incarnation. Born to human parents He nevertheless retains the fullness of deity without compromising His fullness as a human being. He is both perfect God and perfect man. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died, was resurrected and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He will one day personally return to the world in power and glory.
(Holy Spirit)
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and shares all the attributes of the Father and Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is not a cosmic force or a sense of ambience. He is a person and exercises will, volition and emotion as He continues the work of Christ in the New Covenant Era.
(Bible)
We believe that the Holy Bible consists of 66 books. Thirty seven are to be found in the Hebrew Old Testament and twenty nine comprise the Greek New Testament. The Bible is without error or contradiction. While human authors penned the words of each book, the Holy Spirit inspired the human agents to faithfully record the very words of God. To that end, the Bible is a divinely revealed document and is the final authority for life, worship and practice.
(Humanity)
Human beings are the high point of God’s creation. Mankind is created in the image of God. Both male and female are image bearers and have been charged with stewardship of God’s creation. In man’s early state, man rebelled against God, incurring the wrath and judgment of God. The consequence of this rebellion was that mankind’s nature was forever altered. This altered nature is known in Scripture as the sin nature and results in spiritual death. The sin nature eternally separates mankind from God who is altogether perfect, holy and without blemish.
(Salvation)
We believe that God, in His great grace to us, offers His only son, Jesus Christ, as the only way by which we may be saved from eternal punishment, enter into God’s family and receive eternal life. Jesus Christ came into the world to save mankind from the guilt and condemnation of sin, offering His blood as the redemptive sacrifice, making it available to all who put their trust in Him. The gift of salvation is offered freely as a result of the substitutionary death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to all those who put their faith in Him and not in works. We believe in the regenerative power of the Holy Spirit and in the spiritual unity of all regenerate believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the resurrection of all people, resurrection unto eternal life for all Christian believers, and unto eternal ruin for the lost. We believe in the reality of Heaven and Hell.
(Issues)
We believe that marriage consists of one man and one woman for life. We believe that the universe came into being instantaneously, out of nothing, through the spoken word of God. We reject any theory that suggests, that time, chance or nothingness can adequately account for creation.

All board members will be required to subscribe to our statement of faith, group members are expected to acknowledge and respect that, as a Christian organization, the statement of faith is the foundation upon which the Cambridge Christian Home Educators support group conducts its business and activities.

2. By signing up to our group you are agreeing to the following code of conduct:

I hereby acknowledge that CAMBRIDGE CHRISTIAN HOME EDUCATORS is a support group which functions by cooperative effort to enhance the home education experience of all subscribing member families.
I hereby confirm that I am committed to upholding and striving to instill in the children present a Christ-like character to be displayed in their conduct at all events, therefore creating an environment in which spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional growth can be nurtured.
I promise to be an encouragement to all members and agree to share responsibilities, helping out when and where possible.
I accept responsibility for my children’s behaviour, safety and well-being, and any children in my personal care, before, during and after any activities and/or meetings related to the support group.

3. Please read the following waiver. By agreeing to the terms you are able to access participation of the group. This is for insurance purposes (covered in your yearly membership fee).

LIABILITY INSURANCE

This form is intended for each member (family) of CCHE to sign and consent to having understood that Hub International in Brantford has agreed to insure and protect our group for up to a 2 million dollar liability during our homeschooling activities between June 1st, 2025 and August 31st, 2026

Here are some extra details about our insurance policy.

- The field trips are educational outings such as a visit to a museum, educational facility, historical site, theatre, support group, school etc.,

-Sports activities such as baseball, soccer, football, basketball, skating, running club, hockey, hiking etc.

- There are no overnight stays.

- Transportation is the responsibility of the family and they would be responsible for their own vehicle insurance. We haven't hired buses or provided any group transportation.

- Parents: sign waivers, sign in, sign up for or attendance is taken at each event and they are required to stay on-premise during field trips and co-ops.

- If the parent is not there they have taken the responsibility to have a guardian to watch, care for and make decisions for their children.

By participating in any and all Cambridge Christian Home Educator activities (“activities” includes all events, sports, field trips, co-ops, meet ups etc.) you acknowledge and assume all inherent risks associated with it. These risks may include but are not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss. You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, and affiliated parties from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your participation. It is your responsibility to ensure your own safety and well-being of your family during the activity.

Payment Instructions

Once your registration is approved, the final step to receiving membership access is to pay the yearly membership fee. It is $65 and begins in June and ends in August of the following year.

An e-transfer can be sent to cche.registrar@gmail.com with a note that includes your name and email address that you registered with so that they co-incide and can be easily verified.

Please note, until your E-TRANSFER payment is received by the registrar at cche.registrar@gmail.com, you are NOT FULLY REGISTERED and cannot participate in CCHE events. Please be prompt with your payment.

To help facilitate the efficiency of registration please submit your e-transfer the same day you receive approval.

In the memo/note portion of the e-transfer please include details to help us identify you: your full name or your children's full names.

E-transfers are very tricky when trying to pair them up with last names that are not ones that you currently used on your registration form. For security purposes, banks actually blank out your email address so we are not able to use this to identify you. (For example-I have maiden names, father's last names, extended family names that e-transfer for you. This actually takes up a lot of time trying to track down which membership belongs to the money transferred of up to 150+ families.)

There is no longer a security question. If a security question is being asked you have the wrong email address.
