Vision Statement
To provide a Christ-centered classical education to our children through a weekly co-op where they can flourish under faith-integrated instruction, academic accountability, and within a caring community of like-minded families.
-
Faith-Integrated Instruction:
-
The home is the primary place of discipleship, and parents hold the responsibility to train up their children in the Lord. This co-op is a support system for home discipleship not a replacement.
-
Families will sign our Faith Statement to verify their agreement with the community.
-
Conversations of differing views outside of the Faith Statement will be handled with love and respect.
-
Subjects will be taught through a Christ-centered lens including Scripture, prayer, and connecting conversations.
-
Grades K-5 will have Scripture and hymn memory, and grades 6-12 will have specific Bible classes for age appropriate Biblical literacy, theology, church history, and apologetics.
-
-
Academic Accountability:
-
Parents are ultimately responsible for their child’s education, and they are the primary teachers.
-
This is not a drop-off program, and parents are expected to be present and involved throughout co-op days.
-
Each adult present on co-op day will have a role which will be done on a volunteer basis with no payment. Cultivate leadership will work with your family to find the best fit.
-
Curriculum will be chosen to provide a rigorous academic environment within a classical model.
-
Curriculum will include age appropriate discussions about difficult issues, differing opinions, and different worldviews.
-
We expect that families will complete their work weekly on a regular basis to the best of their children’s abilities.
-
Teachers will be in communication regularly with students and parents with expectations, feedback of work quality, and any behavioral issues.
-
-
Caring Community:
-
Our families will encourage, extend grace and mercy, speak truth, and love each other in and outside of co-op days.
-
Families will commit to taking care of the facility during and after co-op days, leaving it better than they found it.
-
We understand that the costs of a co-op are low, but the cost of time is high.
-
Families will commit to weekly attendance to not only benefit themselves but the growth of the whole community.
