MArCH Honors Programs are not enrolling until Summer for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year.

Green Cord
This program encourages and awards MArCH students (grades 9-12) for actively participating in volunteer community service. In addition, it provides a simple way for students to document their service hours (for scholarship applications, college entrance applications, resumes, job applications, etc.)  

What is required to earn a Green Cord?
• A minimum of 100 community/volunteer service hours (within a year) is required to receive a Green Cord Award. Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will receive a certificate at the end of the spring term. Seniors will receive a certificate and will also be able to wear a green cord at graduation.

When does the program year typically run?
• The MArCH Green Cord Program schedule runs from May 1, 2025 - April 30, 2026.

Honor Society 
The McKinney Area Christian Homeschoolers (MArCH) are proud to sponsor the Alpha Nu Chapter of the National Homeschool Honor Society Eta Sigma Alpha (ESA). Any High School MArCH Student is welcome to join. Honor Society provides students an opportunity to spend time with other academically minded students,learn more about the career they are interested in, and learn from guest speakers and planned activities. As well as it looks good on College applications and scholarships.
