Origin: Greek
Areté began in 2005 when a few friends got together to start a Christian co-op for their families. It began with 12 students. Since then, Areté has grown and serves many families within the Hanover, Henrico, New Kent and King and Queen areas. It is run by volunteers of board members and parents and paid tutors whose goal it is to serve the Lord by educating our children from a biblical worldview that keeps Jesus as the foundation of our learning.
