Josh Cassellius

Josh Cassellius brings a rich background and genuine passion to the study of Spanish. Having grown up in Mexico as a missionary kid, he became fluent in the language while developing a deep love and appreciation for Hispanic culture and people. With seven years of experience teaching Spanish in public school settings, Josh has worked with students ranging from 3rd grade through high school Spanish 4, including three years in a Classical Education environment. He is dedicated not only to helping students master the Spanish language, but also to guiding them in understanding and connecting with the people and cultures behind it. His goal is to equip students with the skills and perspective needed to communicate effectively and engage meaningfully in a global community. |
Olivia Cohen

Olivia Cohen is an art educator with five years of teaching experience, including four years working with middle and high school students. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Art History from Wofford College, where she developed a strong foundation in both artistic practice and historical study. Having grown up homeschooled, Olivia brings a deep appreciation for thoughtful, intentional education and values approaches that emphasize depth over speed, careful observation, and the cultivation of wonder. Olivia grew up creating art alongside her father, an artist, which fostered her lifelong love of the visual arts. She is especially passionate about teaching through a classical, Schole-inspired approach that encourages students to slow down, attend closely, and pursue beauty and excellence in their work. Olivia lives in Moore County with her husband and is dedicated to helping her community grow in both skill and artistic appreciation through meaningful, attentive instruction. |
Dell Cook

For twenty-five years Dell has been a national leader in the growth of classical Christian education as a teacher, coach, administrator, speaker, consultant, and board member. He holds two masters degrees (M.Div and ThM) in theology. Dell has served as a faculty member with Worldview Academy for 25 years and served as chairman of the board of directors for 8 years. He has recently expanded his role with Worldview Academy as Senior Fellow, leading in the development of biblical, apologetics, and worldview content and resources that equip students to serve Christ and lead the culture in truth and grace. |
Tobin Duby

Tobin Duby has a Bachelor’s degree in the Classical Liberal arts. He has taught literature, history, Latin, philosophy, and composition for 5 years and lives to guide students into the forgotten riches of the Christian heritage and the history of ideas. He loves to turn the abstract into the practical, and help students build a personal connection to events of the past. |
Taylor Hickey

Taylor is a choir and handbell director, professional soprano, and music educator. She studied at Oklahoma State University and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, earning a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Vocal Concentration. Taylor has worked as a public and private school music educator and clinician, Kindermusik Educator, private voice and piano teacher, vocal soloist, and handbell director. She is currently the Director of Choirs at Southern Pines United Methodist Church and Music Director at All Saints Christian Academy, a Classical and Scholé institution. She lives in Moore County with her husband, Brad, and their two young children. |

Reuben Jansen

Reuben Jansen received his Bachelor of Arts from New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, Idaho, in 2016. He has taught in classical schools for the past ten years and is the author of the Picta Dicta Latin Primer series and co-author of the Latin Grammar series, now used in over 100 classical schools nationwide. A classically trained cellist, Reuben credits his distinctive approach to Latin instruction to the Suzuki method he was exposed to as a child. He and his wife, Annie, have been married for eleven years and are expecting their seventh child in May. |
Craig Jones

Craig Jones enjoyed a forty-five-year career as a teacher, coach, division head, and head at independent day and boarding schools in Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, and Pennsylvania—and as a corporate attorney and a consultant in hiring teachers and school leaders. He was a football Academic All-American at the Virginia Military Institute and earned his law degree at the University of Virginia. He taught English literature and composition as well as public speaking at VMI and at various schools, and was a board member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Charlottesville, VA. These days, retired, he enjoys singing in church choir and with the Golf Capital (barbershop) Chorus, teaching an adult Sunday School class, and umpiring high school baseball and softball. |
Tammy Jones

Tammy Jones is a credentialed teacher, speaker, and curriculum designer. Many years ago, Tammy taught K-1st in a brick-and-mortar Christian school and since then has taught Bible-based local homeschool courses to every school age in many subjects including seven years teaching Challenge A in CC. She specializes in teaching multi-level age groups and integrated subject areas. She has taught and designed curriculum for the last 16 years in two Classical Christian online schools, and currently teaches Science, History, and beginning Latin to 3rd through 7th graders online.

Lindsey Lochner

Lindsey Lochner, owner of Lazy Fox Lavender Farm in Moore County, blends her passion for farming with a rich background in education. A graduate of the VET Farm School and the Soldier to Ag program, she is also an Extension Master Gardener for Moore County and has taken gardening courses at Sandhills Community College. Lindsey has homeschooled her four children for the past 11 years and is passionate about experiential learning. Through her farm, she offers workshops, classes, and field trips, teaching the value of gardening, pollinators, and sustainable farming. |
Gabriel Lucero

Gabriel Lucero is a former Assistant Professor and Course Director in Physics and Nuclear Engineering at the United States Military Academy where he led instruction for over 800 students, developed curriculum, and trained and mentored junior faculty. He taught within West Point’s small class model which is built around low student-to-instructor ratios and hands-on, discussion-driven learning. He is the 2019 Apgar Award recipient for excellence in teaching. He holds a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from the United States Military Academy. |
Laurie McCauley

Laurie retired from the classroom in 2022 after a 35-year rewarding career focused on helping students grow and succeed.. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education with a specialization in Reading. From 2002 to 2022, she was honored to be National Board Certified in Science. Over the course of her career, Laurie taught a wide range of subjects and grade levels, including middle school math, science, and social studies, as well as high school Physical Science, Earth and Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science, World History, and AVID. Beyond the classroom, Laurie is a lifelong member of Tramway Baptist Church in Sanford, North Carolina. She is the proud parent of three adult children and looks forward to welcoming her third grandchild soon. Service has always been a central part of her life, and she continues to find joy in giving back to her community and expanding the minds of others. |
Steve Myer

Steve Myer is a former Assistant Professor and Course Director in Mathematics at the United States Military Academy, where he led instruction in Probability and Statistics for over 1000 students, developed curriculum, and guided and developed 16 faculty members. He taught within West Point’s small class model, built around low student to instructor ratios and hands-on, discussion driven learning. He was also an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at Old Dominion University and Methodist University.
He holds Masters degrees in Operations Research and Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy. He served in the Army for 27 years and as a consultant at Booz Allen, before serving 7 years as the National Director for the Military Ministry of Cru. |
Jordan & Cassie Timpy

Jordan & Cassie Timpy both received their Bachelor of Arts degrees in photojournalism and visual communication from one of the nation’s top journalism schools — The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Media and Journalism. This is also where they met and fell in love. Since graduating in 2009-10, they have worked professionally doing photography and video storytelling for various magazines, newspapers, and nonprofit organizations. Their last desk jobs were in the DC Metro area where Jordan was photo editor at Ranger Rick, Jr. magazine and Cassie was a video producer for the Federal Aviation Administration. In 2015, they felt the Lord’s call to step out in faith and leave the best jobs of their career in order to serve ministries and nonprofit organizations around the world with visual storytelling, which turned into their full-time ministry and business for the past decade. They are North Carolina natives and after 12 years of marriage and traveling to nearly 60 countries together, they returned to Cassie's hometown of Southern Pines and welcomed their first child, Elisha, in 2026. Allen Williams

Allen, a Carolina native, is dedicated to strengthening the local church through the discipleship of the next generation. He holds a degree in Organizational Leadership from University of South Carolina and has earned two Master’s degrees in Theological Studies, along with a Doctor of Ministry in Next Generation Ministry from Liberty University. With 15 years of experience in ministry and teaching, Allen serves as a pastor focused on equipping leaders and discipling teenagers. His work emphasizes biblical literacy, spiritual formation, and raising up students who are prepared to live out their faith with conviction |
