Fresno Christian Sports

Students enrolled with SVCA have the opportunity to participate in High School Sports with Fresno Christian High School through a Multi-School Agreement.

Athletic Eligibility and Academic Guidelines

All students participating in Fresno Christian Schools athletics will abide by the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) rules. For more specific information, athletes and their families can visit the CIF website at www.cifsds.org.

Enrollment: The student must be enrolled full-time at their high school or middle school. Exception: Juniors and Seniors on graduation track may have a reduced schedule as long as the student is enrolled in 20 semester credits (4 classes) or otherwise satisfies CIF rules on enrollment.

Academic: The students must maintain an overall GPA of 2.0, and demonstrate passing 4 classes based on the most recent semester grade report.

High school athletes planning to attend Division I colleges must be sure they have fulfilled the NCAA Clearinghouse Requirements. Please notify the SVCA Administrator if you anticipate your student following this path.

All attendance and academic records must also be kept current to maintain participation. Lack of compliance with SVCA’s Membership Agreement will be grounds for removal from SVCA, as well as Fresno Christian Sports. Additional sports fees are paid directly to Fresno Christian School.
