Explore the essential elements of two-dimensional art in this hands-on studio class. Students will develop skills in line, shape, texture, value, edge, and color theory through guided instruction and creative exploration. Using a variety of techniques and media—including pencil, pen and ink, paint, and paper—students will complete original art projects that strengthen both technical ability and personal expression.

Opportunities to display finished work may be available throughout the semester.
