Speech & Debate Tournament
Aeropagus, our local homeschool Speech & Debate club, is hosting their annual "Mars Hill Match" Regional Tournament on March 31 - April 2nd (Thursday-Saturday) at Westwood Baptist Church. They would like to invite our parents (and grandparents) to come give feedback to the homeschool students, aged 13-18, who are coming from across the Southeast to compete. They will need about *400* community judge slots filled again this year so please consider signing up to judge at least one or even two time slots. You do not need to have any experience in Speech and Debate. The NCFCA tournament staff will give you all the training you need. Judging is also a great way to learn about the world of competitive Speech and Debate and to see if it might be an activity you want to include in your homeschool schedule in the future!
