We know homeschooling can feel exciting but also a little overwhelming – and you don’t have to do it alone. Rooted in Christ, our co-op comes alongside families with encouragement, resources, and real community, helping parents feel confident and kids flourish educationally, socially, and spiritually. Walking Wise Homeschool Co-Op of is a 501(c)3 organization located at Camp Bethel in beautiful Southwest Virginia.

Our story began with five moms who were new to the area, each searching for community and support in their homeschooling journey. What started as simple conversations and shared playdates grew into something bigger - a Christ-centered space where famiies could connect, encourage one another and grow. Together, these moms built the Co-op from the ground up, driven by prayer, determination, and a shared desire to see children thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. God quickly opened the right doors. Camp Bethel welcomed us onto their grounds, giving us space to gather and dream. With grateful hands and hopeful hearts, we transformed a former daycare building into a schoolhouse - creating a central hub for learning, fellowship, and faith. Today, their heart for authentic community continues to shape everything we do, as we welcome new families into the story God is writing here.
