Selecting the option to add an event to your personal calendar will perform a one-time copy of the event. Any future updates to the event will not "sync" to your personal calendar. 

If you would like to subscribe so that future updates are synced to your personal calendar, go to the Calendar tool and subscribe to the appropriate event category. If you do not see the Subscribe button above the Calendar, talk to your group admin about enabling the feature.

Mr Gainor is back! This class is part of last year's Home Mechanics class teaching our students important and necessary skills for life. 

Electrical:

· Students will be introduced to how electricity enters the home and its origin
· Recognizing common electrical problems and how to trouble shoot each problem and create a game plan for solving the problem
· Each student will learn how to understand a home electrical service panel and how it distributes electricity throughout the house
· They will learn how to safely change an electrical switch and receptacle along with other household electrical repairs

Plumbing:

· How does the incoming water and exiting drain system operate in a home?
· What are common water/drain problems that can be fixed or repaired without paying for an expensive plumber?
· How to change a toilet shutoff system
· How to change a sink water faucet
· How to trouble shoot and repair water supply and drain leaks

There will be a total of 10 hours for each subject for a total of 20 class hours. There will be much “hands-on” activity to reinforce the theory. Seating is limited.
