Homeschool Safari At the Zoo
Homeschool Programs for 6-12 year olds
Discover the natural world through a variety of interactive experiences! Each month a different topic is offered. Come to a few or attend them all! Programs include a classroom lesson, hands-on activity or game, live animal visitor or special animal experience and a walk in the Zoo.
- WHAT: Reptiles Rule! Take a closer look at what makes reptiles so awesome!
- WHERE: Conservation Education Building
- WHEN: Morning and afternoon classes are offered. Each class lasts 1 1/2 hours.
- 10:30 AM Class Dates: September 11, 13, 18, 20, 27
- 2:30 PM Class Dates: September 10, 12, 23, 26, 30
- COST: $9 per student plus Zoo admission. Parents and siblings may observe the program free of charge, but must pay Zoo admission. Non-registered siblings must be supervised by an adult.
- REGISTER: Register online at www.columbuszoo.org and hover over ‘DISCOVER’, then click on ‘BIRTH TO 17 YEARS’ or call 614-645-3488. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.
