What is Pure Pursuers Christian Homeschool Co-op?

Pure Pursuers is a Christ-centered homeschool co-op designed to support families that are actively working to disciple their children as they grow a strong faith in Jesus Christ through enrichment classes, electives, special events, and community fellowship.

What activities and programs are offered?

  • Enrichment Classes: Hands-on activities twice monthly for Preschool–High School.  These are usually centered around a theme for the year.  This portion of Co-op is not optional, but it is included in your registration fee.

  • PE Program: Organized physical education sessions.

  • Elective Classes: Optional classes.  Examples of classes that are currently offered or have been offered in the past are Sign Language, Spanish, Art, Science, Sewing, Apologetics, Home Economics, Study Hall, Digital Media Tools and Yearbook.

  • Children’s Choir: Two full-length musical productions per year with acting, singing, choreography, sets and costumes.

  • AWANA: A Bible-centered children’s program that emphasizes scripture memorization.

  • Family Fellowship: Mom’s Bible studies, ladies' nights, and dads' fantasy sports leagues.

  • Summer Events: Field trips, swim parties, and movie nights.

  • Azure Standard Drop Site - A great way to pick up your affordable, healthy groceries, supplements, home/ranch supplies, garden starts and much more.

How often does the co-op meet?

Co-op meets every Thursday.  All enrichment and elective classes meet twice a month(classes will meet on alternateing weeks to allow students the opportunity to take multiple), Children's Choir meets weekly, and AWANA meets weekly on Sunday evenings. Special events and summer activities are also scheduled throughout the year.

What are the costs involved?

There is a $10 per family regisitration fee per year.  There is also a $50 student fee per year to cover supplies and operations. Elective classes will each have their own fee that can range anywhere from $30-$60 per year.  At times their may be additional curriculum fees, field trips costs, etc. that are passed on to the family.  Payment plans are available for larger families and we also offer a scholarship program.

Is this a drop-off program?

No. Parents are required to stay on-site and be actively involved in teaching, assisting, or managing behavior during activities.

Where is the co-op located?

The co-op is meets at and is a ministry of Winton First Baptist Church.  The church is dedicated to supporting homeschooling families as they disciple their children in the ways of Christ. 

What is the focus of the enrichment curriculum?

Themes vary year to year but typically involve engaging, hands-on topics like inventors, life skills, or world cultures. Most activities tie into a central theme for the year.

How do I register or learn more?

You may click here to fill out our Registration Form.  After registration, we will schedule an introductory meeting with you to get to know your family.  We will also require a Pastor Recommendation from your family's pastor as a reference.  Upon acceptance, families will gain access to our private co-op member portal that will include calendars, class registation and many other resources.
