(Texas Association of Catholic Homeschoolers)
TEACH is a group comprised of Catholic home schooling families from North Texas. We are faithful to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. We meet and communicate via email to provide support and share ideas and experiences on the education of our children and on our Catholic spiritual growth.
We offer many support activities to our members. These include:
Moms’ Support Group Meetings
Fine Arts Trips
All Saints Day Celebration
Pioneer Day (Field Day)
Spring Dallas Arboretum Trip
Outreach Service Projects
Used Curriculum Book Sale
We would like to share with you the many positive aspects of Catholic home schooling. If you would like to learn more about our group or just inquire about home schooling, please email Camille Palmer at [email protected] If you would like to join our group, click on the "Join" button and fill out the application process. You will be notified by e-mail when your application has been approved.
Canon 774.2 says, “Before all others, parents are bound by the obligation of forming their children…in the practice of Christian life.”
Pope John Paul II in his Encyclical, On the Role of the Christian Family in the Modern World (Familiaris Consorio), says:
“The right and duty of parents to give education is essential…
it is irreplaceable and inalienable and incapable of being entirely delegated or usurped by others."
