Welcome to FAITH! We are glad you found us. Please look over the following five steps before requesting membership to be sure that this group is what you are looking for.

After reading steps 1-5, feel free to request membership to FAITH. Upon completion of this form, you will be directed to the payment page. Once payment is received and your background check has been completed and cleared, your request for membership will be reviewed for approval. The cost for a family (household) membership is $50/year (this membership fee is voted on in May according to our bylaws). Membership runs July 1 - June 30.

We pray that by joining FAITH, you will find encouragement and blessings as you continue on your journey of homeschooling.

In 1 Corinthians 12:12-16, 24-26, it says:

"For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body - Jews or Greeks, slaves or free - and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

For the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body, that would not make it any less a part of the body...

But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together."

We are unashamedly a Christian Home Education Group made up of believers who seek to honor the Lord in our homeschooling & corporately as well.

*Primary and Secondary names should be the legal guardian(s) of the child/ren.

STEP 3:

FAITH background checks that were completed during the 2023-2024 school year are valid for three (3) years. New families requesting FAITH membership must complete a FAITH-approved background check form which will be emailed to you separately. Any parent who will be attending classes, assisting at events, or with athletics & activities must be background-checked. If any of these apply, both parents will need to pay for and complete a background check through FAITH. Parents requesting two (2) background checks must have two (2) different email addresses.

STEP 4:

Being a part of a homeschool co-op means families coming together and working cooperatively to achieve common goals.

Each FAITH family membership is required to complete a minimum of two (2) service requirements. This is in addition to service hours required by FAITH's additional programs. FAITH additional programs include but are not limited to Academics, Enrichment, and Athletics & Activities (these programs may have their own additional volunteer requirements).

One (1) service credit will be given for in-person volunteering. One-half (1/2) service credit will be given for all donated items.

If you do not select two (2) sections in which to serve, the Board will randomly select them for you.

Any FAITH family who fails to complete their two (2) FAITH service requirements may be subject to non-renewal of FAITH membership.

What's next? Upon membership approval, you will be eligible to register for additional activities and programs FAITH has to offer! Log in to your FAITH account to view the Calendar of Events for Field Trip & Special Event signups, Enrichment & Academics program registrations, and Athletics & Activities registrations (all of which may be subject to additional fees & service requirements).

In order to present our bodies as a holy temple of God, the FAITH Dress Code is
as follows:

• Shorts and skirts must be longer than fingertips while arms are straight at the side with relaxed shoulders.

• No spaghetti straps or cut-off t-shirts (the Dance Dress Code will be addressed separately as FAITH Dances have their own guidelines).

• No midriffs, cleavage, undergarments or buttocks showing.

• No clothing displaying inappropriate or offensive content.

• Modest apparel is required at all times, including modest swimwear at swim functions (girls, one-pieces and tankinis only; guys, no speedos).

The Dress Code will be enforced at all FAITH functions, including but not limited to special events, field trips and athletics. Members not adhering to the Dress Code will be asked to leave the FAITH activity/event.

In order to present ourselves in a godly manner, the FAITH Code of Conduct is
as follows:

• Students should show courtesy for adults and peers alike.

• Language should honor God with no cursing or coarse language.

• No improper displays of affection.

• Bullying in any form will not be tolerated and can lead to immediate dismissal from the FAITH.

“Harassment, intimidation or bullying” means any intentional written, verbal, cyber, or physical act, when the intentional written, verbal, cyber, or physical act:

**Physically harms a person or damages the person’s property; or

**Is severe, persistent, or so pervasive that it creates an intimidating or threatening environment; or

**Has the effect of substantially disrupting the orderly operation of the program.

Harassment, intimidation or bullying can take many forms including slurs, rumors, jokes, innuendos, demeaning comments, drawings, pranks, gestures, physical attacks, threats, or other written, verbaly, cyber, or physical actions. “Intentional acts” refers to the individual’s choice to engage in the act rather than the ultimate impact of the action(s).

In the event of a dispute where biblical conflict resolution does not bring about the desired result (referring to Matthew 18:15-17 and I Corinthians 6:1-8), the Conflict Resolution Panel (CRP) will be employed.

By initialing, your family, as members of FAITH, agrees to comply with the Dress Code and Code of Conduct anytime you are participating in a FAITH activity. Per the bylaws, the FAITH website and email are the primary means of communication to the membership. Please check your junk/spam folder periodically for FAITH-related emails.

Please list full legal name and email in this box if you need a background check. Each person will need to pay the background check fee. Each person will also need to have a Unique Individual email that will be associated with their name/background check. If you are a returning FAITH member, your registration is complete once FAITH membership dues are paid. Background checks done in the 2023-2024 membership year won't require renewal until the 2026-2027 school year.

Families requesting new FAITH membership are required to complete a FAITH-approved background check before membership requests will be considered for approval. Registration and background check payments must be received before a background check can be requested. A link to the background check system will be sent to the email address you provide on your registration. PLEASE watch for this email as memberships will not be approved until completed. Results generally take several days, but please note weekends and holidays do not count and can cause the process to take longer. You will receive an email when the application has been approved.

Information is stored securely on the background check provider servers. We do not store any of the information from your background report.
