CHSA Head Coach
With over a decade of coaching experience, I am dedicated to developing athletes both on and off the court. As a proud father of three—two sons (25 and 22) and a 7-year-old daughter—my coaching started in 2010 at the Thelma Ley Anderson YMCA, where I coached soccer to get my sons involved in sports. In 2012, my youngest son wanted to try volleyball, so I stepped in as a volunteer coach, and I’ve been coaching volleyball ever since.
In 2021, I started coaching club volleyball and now coach the 16U travel team girls with BAVA. I love working with athletes to build their skills, confidence, and teamwork. Coaching isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’m truly passionate about. My goal is to help players grow as athletes and as individuals, reaching their full potential developing confidence and skills needed for success.
CHSA Assistant Head Coach
Raised in Houston, I have a passion for mentoring and developing young athletes both on and off the court. I'm currently a senior at Grace Leadership College, studying Communications & Mass Media, and following my calling into ministry.
I’ve played competitive volleyball for five years at Grace Christian School, including one season at the collegiate club level, and have experience coaching club volleyball. I love helping athletes grow in their skills, confidence, and teamwork. More than just coaching, I’m passionate about discipling young athletes and using sports as a way to build character, leadership, and faith. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where players can thrive.
CHSA Junior High Coach
Hi, I'm MacKenzie Frausto, but my players call me Coach Kenzie. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and I've transitioned from being an athlete, playing as a setter and libero on my high school team, to being a coach at BAVA. In addition to running summer clinics, I have coached 13U and 14U teams.
For me, coaching means not only training skills and techniques, but also confidence, discipline, and team building. My goal has always been that when my players move on, they leave not just as better athletes, but as better people. Outside of coaching, I am a wife and mother! I spend my days at home with my son, and my nights coaching and cheering on my sister-in-law in her club and school sports. I am so excited to be a Wolverine and get on the court with the team.
