How To Use This Site
Forgotten Username or Password:
What if a family forgets their login and/or password? At the login box for the CHSA Homeschool-Life website in the upper right corner, select ‘Forgot Username’ or ‘Forgot Password’. The ‘forgot username’ link will send you your user name to the email address on record. The ‘forgot your password’ will send you a temporary password to the email address on record. The next time you login, you will be redirected to your profile page, where you can change the temporary password.
What if a site admin or sub admin forgets their login and/or password? The procedure is similar to above. Go to the group admin login box and select ‘Forgot Username’ or ‘Forgot Password’. The ‘forgot username’ will send you your admin username to the email address on record. The ‘forgot your password’ will send you a temporary password to your admin email address on record.
Follow these instructions if you would like to get additional information about other CHSA members beyond what appears on the Directory link (cell numbers, email addresses, etc.).
After you log in to the website, click on the Directory link, and then click on “Online directory with details” in the upper right hand corner. This will take you to a check box menu which includes a list of phone numbers and email addresses. Click on the ones you want, then click “View online directory”. It is best to sort the directory "Family" to get an alphabetized list. This will take you to a directory page with the additional info you selected. You can print it if you would like to or just look at the items you need.
Communication for CHSA Members:
Our primary means of communication will be via email and website updates. Anytime there is information to dispense or last-minute changes in scheduling, an email will be sent and, if possible, the website will reflect the update. Therefore, it is imperative that you keep your email address and other contact information current with Homeschool-Life. Update your information anytime by logging in to your account, choosing the Profile link on upper right of this page, and correcting the necessary fields. It is also important to check your email regularly. As we all know, occasionally changes come just hours before an event, and email is the fastest, most efficient way to notify everyone. In the event that you do not have access to email, please notify your player’s coach and team mom so that arrangements can be made to reach you by phone when changes occur.
Correct settings for your CHSA User Profile:
After you log in, choose the Profile link located at the top right of the page. This is where you can make sure your forum preferences are set as follows; otherwise you may miss important, time-critical updates during the season. CHSA policy will be to keep forum email volume as low as possible, for timely and streamlined communications.
Weekly Email Update - Would you like to receive a weekly email update? choose YES
- Forum Emails - Would you like to receive forum notifications via email (not just the ones you create)? choose YES
- Many Emails - Would you like to receive notifications IMMEDIATELY? choose YES
- Delivery Type - either option is fine
- Daily Digest - Would you like to receive notifications ONCE A DAY? choose NO
Select the forum categories you wish to receive emails about. It's important that at a minimum you choose these: All CHSA, All BBall (and/or All VBall or Golf), and all the teams all of your players are on. You may choose to receive other forum categories for other teams, but you do not need to.
