Vball Parent/Player Meeting 10am @ Bay Area First Baptist Church
Our MANDATORY Parent/player meeting will be Saturday morning, June 4, 10am-noon at Bay Area Christian School Gym in League City. A parent (preferably both) and the player who has made the team MUST attend. Failure to attend this meeting may affect the player’s eligibility for play! If any player/family misses the meeting, it is the responsibility of that family to make arrangements to meet with leadership to discuss expectations and to collect necessary paperwork, information, and fees. All fees for the year and expectations will be given at this meeting. Most misunderstandings we've had in the past have come from parents not attending this meeting.
High School Practices will start in June and will be pretty intense. We are adding another hour and another practice to get ready for the season. We will be practicing at South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena and at Hope Lutheran in Friendswood. Locations for specific dates will be sent out later. Summer practice days will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays from 9-noon. The week of August 15th we will move from our summer practice schedule to our school year practice schedule – Monday late afternoon/evenings and Thursday afternoons – specific times will be sent out later.
Jr. High Practices will start in July. JH’s summer practice schedule will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 2 hours each day – in the mornings – specific start time will be sent out later. The week of August 15th we will move from our summer practice schedule to our school year practice schedule – Monday late afternoon/ evenings and Thursday afternoons – specific times will be sent out later.
Developmental Program: This program is designed for younger girls that are just starting to learn the game. There are NO competitions at this level, and tryouts are not necessary. Developmental team practices once a week for ten weeks. Cost: $150
Practice Dates: Thursdays from 12:30pm-2pm. July 28th – September 29th.
