Treasurer Trainee
***URGENT NEED***
Our current treasurer is leaving at the end of the school year
This person will learn the Treasurer position dealing with the finances of the organization. Training will be provided. Experience with bookkeeping and Quickbooks is preferred, but willingness to learn will be considered :-) Must be a member for at least six months.
Outreach Chair
This is a YHSA Board position which oversees and assists all of our Outreach Organizers, leads the annual YHSA Expo committee, and attends monthly Board meetings. Must be familiar with the organization and a member for at least six months. All Board members must sign a statement of faith.
Communications Chair
This is a YHSA Board position which maintains our web site, helps other volunteers to learn to use the site, and attends monthly Board meetings. Must be computer-savvy and a member for at least six months. All Board members must sign a statement of faith.
Evaluator List Organizer
This person updates our evaluator list annually. You send out questionnaries to evaluators and upload the information to our web site once they are returned.
Coffee Crate
This person provides refreshments at various YHSA events such as Expo and seminars as needed. All equipment and supplies are provided. If you're a coffee lover, this is the job for you!
Field Day Organizer
This person organizes and runs a one-time (or annual!) Field Day event for students of all ages. Historically this has been a very well-attended and anticipated event!
Facilities Organizer
This person maintains a list of available facilities and schedules use of facilities for outreach activities.
HSLDA Liaison
This person must be a member of HSLDA. Duties include keeping the membership informed about HSLDA membership and updating our information annually.
Fundraiser Organizer
This person will become acquainted with all of our self-running fundraising opportunities (Box Tops, Giant Rewards, rebate programs, etc.), update program information, and assist members in utilizing the programs when needed.
