Cindy To To All Instructors

Cindy To is a visual storyteller from Iowa. She is a student at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with an Illustration major and a Teaching Artist minor. Most of her work expresses a child-like wonder inspired by experiences and media she enjoyed during her youth. Her illustrations are created digitally with photoshop, and traditionally with watercolor and colored pencil. After she graduates, Cindy plans to find a career in children’s publishing and engage with her community through teaching. Cindy has worked as an Assistant Teacher at the Des Moines Art Center for 2 years with ages 5 through 14 and with lifelong learners as an art instructor at Pillars. She enjoys cultivating her students' creativity in a fun and safe environment. Cindy’s mission as a teacher is to help students find their inner strengths and achieve their personal goals.
