Ms. Serafima (Sima) Sokolovskaya To All Instructors

I was born in Moscow, Russia where I graduated from University. I have worked as an engineer-programmer, and then as a chess coach since 1975. Some of the places I have taught chess include US Embassy, Embassy of India, Finland, Poland, Greece, Cypress and others. I started learning chess when I was 5 years old and have never stopped. I have played in championships in USSR, Russia (champion in 1968), Moscow, and in multiple international tournaments. I taught a State Champion in 2009. Currently, I try to play at least 1-2 tournaments a year and am a FIDE master.
