Mr. Robert Hopkins To All Instructors

A nerd at heart, I’ve been into computers since I was a child and worked in IT all of my professional career.  I started my career in the U.S. Air Force where I spent six years working a wide variety of IT (telephony, networking, and Unix administration). I have also worked as a Linux administrator spending most of my days scripting in Bash and PowerShell.  I currently work as a Sr. Security Engineer. In 2014 I earned a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology Security through Western Governors University.  Through the program I earned a number of entry level certifications in databases, web development, and programming. I recently earned my CISSP, maintain a CompTIA CASP, and have held CCNA and CCNA Security certifications (currently inactive) as well.
