Adrianna O'Brien To All Instructors
Adrianna O’Brien is a cellist and Suzuki teacher. She has performance degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and The Hartt School in Connecticut. In 2004, Adrianna moved to Minnesota to teach at MacPhail Center for Music. Soon after, she began a Suzuki cello program at Breck School, and in 2009 she founded the Emerald Suzuki Academy. In 2010, Adrianna established the only Suzuki Early Childhood Education program in Minnesota, and has since been invited to bring her expertise in this area to St. Joseph’s School of Music in St. Paul and Augsburg College Suzuki Talent Education in Minneapolis. Adrianna is a sought-after cello clinician and has taught at workshops and institutes around the United States. She is also a founding member of the Loring String Quartet in Minneapolis.
