Mrs. Kirsten Tacheny To All Instructors
Kirsten is a lover of all things learning and hands-on discovery. She has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Material Science. She received her degree from the University of St. Thomas where she became a member of the Society of Women Engineers. Kirsten worked in the biomedical engineering industry for over four years at Boston Scientific and Medtronic. Kirsten is a recent, first-time mother. She welcomed her son, Theo, to the world in February 2023. Since then, she has decided to make a career change from corporate engineering to lactation consulting and STEM outreach. This change will enable her to have a flexible work schedule and environment while allowing her to spend more time with her son and husband. In her free time, Kirsten enjoys spending time outdoors, caring for her family and pets, cooking, and crafting. Kirsten's dream is to purchase her family farm from her great aunt and uncle in Askov, MN and spend her days dairy farming, homesteading, and caring for her family.
