Touch the Palate Preschool Payments
Monthly payments are due the 1st of each month. Weekly payments are due the Friday before each Monday. Unpaid balances will be assessed a 15% late fee on the 3rd of each month and $5 per day. If the fee is not paid by the 15th of the month, the student will be considered withdrawn unless arrangements have been approved by the finance committee through the administrator. Weekly payments not paid on Friday, will be assessed a 20% late fee on the following Monday of that week and $5 per day. If not paid by Wednesday student will not be able to attend class and will be considered withdrawn unless arrangements have been approved by the finance committee through the administrator. Note: All prices, date and times are subject to change.
Before hours drop off: 48 hours Approval is REQUIRED
Students dropped off before 8:15 a.m. with prior approval from administrator will be charged the $10 per hour fee (at the minute, at hour and within the hour) until 8:30 a.m. For example, if you drop off at 7:50 a.m., you will be charged $10 per hour.
After hours pickup: 48 hours Approval is REQUIRED
There is a 15-minute grace period for pickup from 2:30-2:45 p.m. Grace period ends at exactly 2:45 p.m., then at 2:46 p.m., $10 per hour, (at the minute, at hour and within the hour) you will be charged thereafter. For example if you arrive at 2:49 p.m. etc., you will be charged $10 per hour. The cost for this service is due at the beginning of each week on Tuesday, NO exceptions. Therefore, chronic non-compliance (late pick-ups or early drop-off’s) will be up for review to be removed from the program. We are happy to provide this service to our working parents, but would appreciate you honoring our policy. Thank you for your commitment to be on time to pick- up your child or drop them off at the mandated time.
Optional activities fees: There will be optional activites for the preschool coop year that may require addtioanl fees . These activites will be announce via email/website.
The preschool calendar is 9 months, September-May. Registration is required and additional costs apply. Holidays—TPPC is closed on various holidays throughout the year (see CHESS calendar), including (1) week for Thanksgiving (2) two weeks for Winter break and one (1) week Spring break. On all other recognized holidays TPPC is subject to closures. Like most other private schools, our tuition is based on the nine or ten-month school year. The annual tuition total is calculated with all school days taken into consideration, as well as all school breaks/holidays. That total is then divided into nine/ten equal payments. Monthly tuition does not vary according to the number of school days in any particular month; all school holidays have been factored into the annual tuition.
Tuition is Prorated for Children Enroll Late
Tuition is prorated for children starting school after the first of any month in the nine-month school year. Please note that tuition will not be prorated if school days are missed due to sickness or personal vacation time. Again, school holidays are taken into consideration for the equal monthly payments.
ANNUAL FEES AND IF Fee may be paid using one of three plans.
(1) Full Payment in Advance. Entire payment must be paid by August 15 or September 1st for the coming school year. These fees are non-refundable should the student be withdrawn before (1) the beginning of the year or (2) at some time during the year before the end of the school year. Other fees are not refundable.
(2) Ten-Month Payment Plan. Ten or nine equal payments must begin August 1st or September 1st and must be paid the first of each month for the next nine or ten months (through May 1). (Preferred/best plan)
3) 36 or 32 Weekly Payment Plan. Equal payments must begin August 1, or September 1st the first weekly payment and must be paid on every Friday before the Monday of the following week for the approximate 36 or 32 weeks (through May1). (Optional plan base on need)
