We appreciate your interest in Southwest Georgia Homeschool Association (SWGHA). Your journey towards a confident homeschool choice for your children begins here. Completing this form is the first step in a simple three-step application process. Understanding the association's mission and goals is a valuable step that can help you determine if it aligns with your interests. We believe transparency is key to a positive experience. Please take your time to thoroughly review the information below, to help you make a well-informed choice. The subsequent steps will be clearly outlined once this form is received.

• Please make sure to read SWGHA's Constitution and By-Laws.
• SWGHA is a Christian CO-OP organization of homeschoolers open to Christians of all affiliations and non-Christians as well. Please understand the organization is committed to Biblical standards in all that it does. Our guiding principles are Deuteronomy 6:4-7 and Leviticus 19:18.
• Your presence on campus during the entire CO-OP day is requiered. Children under 16 years old are not allowed to be dropped off.
• There is a membership fee of $100 per family per year. During the early bird season families pay $85 per year. This fee covers the administrative costs to run the group for the current school year. Additionally, the cost of individual classes may vary depending on the class, the teacher, and the subject.
• SWGHA is a volunteer co-operative organization. Cooperative learning thrives on shared responsibility and engagement. Therefore, for the benefit of SWGHA and its members, each family is responsible for fulfilling the purpose of the group. You must agree to assist with an activity or event in some capacity. Also, there is a required clean up day per semester. Families choosing to forgo this requirement will be charged $50 per semester.
• SWGHA believes that the family is the basic governmental, social, and spiritual unit created by God, and defines a family as one male and one female parent with one or more children, united in holy matrimony (married). Although the association allows exceptions due to death, divorce, re-marriage, and adoption, it does not grant membership privileges to legal guardians involved in homosexual or cohabitating relationships (Hebrews 13:4, 1Corinthians 5:11, 6:9-10).
