Our Groups

These six groups are sponsored by the LAH Organization.

Shared Learning is an opportunity for our talented parents to share their skills and knowledge with younger generations. This is for all ages from nursery to 18. Shared Learning usually meets in the mornings from 9-12, every other Thursday during the months of September, October, and November (first semester) and the months of February, March, and April (second semester). Sign up for classes is typically in August and January. There is a $15-25 per family fee, and some classes also have a fee to cover the cost of class supplies. We are parent led, and there is a requirement to either teach one class, or assist in two classes during the semester.

We are getting ready for LAH Rockets Basketball.  Our orientation and sign up is Oct. 1 at the Lebanon-Leclede County Library. The start time is 6:00 pm. The first day of practice is Oct. 17, 2018.

Our 2018-2019 Basketball Teams include: Junior High Boys, Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys

We also have a Girls volleyball team. Practice has started, but it’s not too late. We could use more girls. Ages starting from 11 and up. The games start in September and goes through mid-October.  For more information call Rebecca Freeman at 417-718-7979.

Field Trips and Activities group is made up of volunteer homeschooling parents.  Throughout the year the department organizes group field trips, seasonal parties, social gatherings, and activities at local businesses.

HOPE (Homeschool Organization of Parent Educators)

HOPE is a parent support group for new and experienced homeschoolers.  This group also oversees the Rocket yearbook, Iowa Basic Standarized Test, and LAH graduation.

SHARE (Student Homeschoolers Reaching Everyone)

Student Homeschoolers are Reaching Everyone (S.H.A.R.E.) is a Christ-centered non-profit organization in Lebanon, Mo and the surrounding areas. It is comprised of eager and willing homeschool students who are ready to serve their community and fellow citizens.
