Mrs. Sheila Veenstra To All Instructors

Sheila Veenstra gave her life to the Lord when she was 12 years old.  God gave her a love of drama and she attended “Arts Canterbury High School” in Ottawa, Canada, majoring in drama (2 hours every morning!!). Sheila spent her teenage years traveling with a Christian Musical Theater group, Galilee Proclaims. After a brief foray in the Canadian Navy, she returned to Theatre and received a BA Honors from the University of Ottawa, (also a BA in Communications). She was a part-time General Manager at a Children's Theatre company while she pursued a career in acting. She has several credits including Shakespeare in the park, commercials, made for t.v. movies, indie movies and an episode on Sophie, a Canadian sitcom. After her first child was born she decided to stay home to raise her kids. She has since assisted with church plays, done face painting at events, and taught homeschool drama classes. Her husband's high tech job has brought the family from Canada to Alabama, to San Diego, to small town Pennsylvania, and thankfully now to glorious sunny Florida! She enjoys sharing her passion for drama with new generations of thespians!
